Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the EduLanz platform operated by EduLanz Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Please read these carefully before using the platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

  • By accessing or using EduLanz (edulanz.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
  • If you are under 18, your parent or guardian must review and accept these terms on your behalf.
  • These terms apply to all users — students, parents, school administrators, and partners.

2. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account at team@edulanz.com.
  • One person may not create multiple student accounts to manipulate leaderboard rankings.
  • EduLanz reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Platform Usage Rules

  • You agree to use EduLanz only for lawful, personal, and educational purposes.
  • You must not attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the platform.
  • XP, badges, leaderboard ranks, and course unlocks are non-transferable and hold no monetary value outside EduLanz.
  • Cheating in contests, hackathons, or quizzes (using bots, sharing answers, etc.) will result in immediate disqualification and account suspension.
  • You must not impersonate another student, teacher, or EduLanz employee.
  • You must not upload, post, or transmit any harmful, offensive, or illegal content.

4. Courses and Workshops

  • Paid courses and workshops are subject to our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
  • Free course unlocks earned via XP milestones are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • EduLanz reserves the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel classes and workshops with reasonable notice.
  • Course content is for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not resell, redistribute, or copy course materials.

5. Leaderboards and Competitions

  • Leaderboard rankings are determined solely by XP earned through legitimate platform activity.
  • EduLanz reserves the right to adjust rankings if fraudulent activity is detected.
  • Competition prizes (free courses, certificates) are awarded at EduLanz's sole discretion.
  • Prizes have no cash equivalent and cannot be transferred to another user.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All content on EduLanz — including course materials, logos, design, and code — is owned by EduLanz Technologies Pvt. Ltd.
  • You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the platform for personal learning.
  • You retain ownership of any content you create (e.g., hackathon submissions), but grant EduLanz a licence to display it on the platform.

7. Partner Program

  • Partner commissions are governed by the Partner Agreement signed during onboarding.
  • Commissions are paid only for verified, approved activities as defined in the Partner Agreement.
  • EduLanz reserves the right to modify commission structures with 30 days' notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • EduLanz provides the platform 'as is' without warranties of any kind.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.
  • Our maximum liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to EduLanz in the preceding 3 months.

9. Termination

  • EduLanz may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms.
  • You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.
  • Upon termination, your access to paid content ceases. Earned XP and leaderboard history are permanently deleted.

10. Governing Law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of India.
  • Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

EduLanz reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
